About Nancy Crochiere

Nancy Crochiere first discovered a talent for fiction while writing notes excusing her daughters for being tardy at school. Her humor column, “The Mother Load,” ran in a newspaper chain on Boston’s north shore for fifteen years, or until her kids were old enough to buy newspapers. A graduate of GrubStreet’s Novel Incubator program, Nancy has also published essays in The Boston Globe and Writer’s Digest. In her spare time, she acts as an “extra” in feature films. In the movie Joy, you catch her staring unapologetically at Bradley Cooper’s backside.
